At The Talking Dolphin, our mission is to make high-quality speech and language services accessible to families in our community, including multilingual families who may face barriers to care.

We proudly accept MassHealth for eligible services.

As part of our commitment to accessibility, we are honored to serve families with MassHealth coverage. Please contact us to verify eligibility and benefits prior to scheduling.

We work with Blue Cross Blue Shield plans for eligible services. Coverage may vary depending on your individual policy. Please get in touch with us so we can help verify your benefits before scheduling services.

We also work with Mass General Brigham Health Plan. Coverage and benefits may vary depending on your specific plan, so we recommend contacting us to verify eligibility before beginning services.

SUPERBILLS

For families who prefer private pay or who have out-of-network insurance plans, services can be paid for directly. Upon request, we can provide a superbill, which is a detailed receipt that families may submit to their insurance provider for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Because reimbursement policies vary widely between plans, we encourage families to contact their insurance provider directly to understand their out-of-network benefits. We can help walk you through which questions to ask.

PRIVATE PAY RATES

Sessions

We offer clear, transparent pricing for one-on-one services.

30-minute session – $75
45-minute session – $100
60-minute session – $140

These rates apply to:

Individual therapy

Parent & family coaching

AAC support

IEP support for students

*A mileage fee of $2/mile is added for commutes beyond a 20 mile radius.

Evaluations

Our evaluations are comprehensive and individualized to ensure an accurate understanding of your child’s communication profile. Each assessment includes:

  • Parent intake interview

  • Review of medical, developmental, and educational history

  • Formal and informal testing

  • Language sampling and dynamic assessment

  • Analysis of speech, language, and other communication skills (tailored to areas of concern)

  • A detailed written report with results and recommendations

  • A follow-up meeting to review findings and next steps

English-only Evaluation – $700

Bilingual evaluation – $950
(English, Portuguese, & Spanish)
